For perfect eyeshadow application, use the Eyes 55 Base Shader Brush to apply lighter colors, and the Eyes 60 Pencil Eye Brush to blend eyeshadows and pencils along the lash line, in the outer corner of the eye, and along the crease of the eyelid. Use the Eyes 51 Shader Brush for applying and blending darker shadows and the Eyes 58 Blending Brush to blend the applied shadows more broadly and along the eye contour.

Unlike self-assessment tests on product longevity, which depend on the subjective interpretations and perceptions of volunteers and whose number is not always statistically relevant, the KIKO longevity test is an instrumental examination, conducted live, on a sample of twenty volunteers aged between eighteen and sixty.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The product for the To establish the degree of duration, the product is applied in a clinical laboratory in the presence of a trained technician, who demonstrates the application methods to the volunteer, as well as the instructions from the manufacturers and professional KIKO makeup artists. The application is performed under normal usage conditions, on the area where the product is effectively used (for example, eyeliner is applied to the eyelid, while lipstick is applied directly to the lips). In phase zero, that is, shortly after the first application, color data is obtained using a standardized and calibrated high-resolution instrument that captures images of the face. At this point, the volunteer returns home and carries out her normal daily activities, simulating the natural use of the product. After four, eight, and ten hours, the volunteer will return to the laboratory and undergo color intensity measurements with the same instrument used for the first test in phase zero.

HOW ARE THE RESULTS PROCESSED?

At the end of the test, the data obtained in each reading are processed to calculate the percentage duration of the color at the different measurement times, compared to phase zero.

WHEN CAN WE SPEAK OF LONG-LASTING COLOR?

A result of "GOOD COLOR LASTING" (i.e., a maximum color loss of 20%) eight hours AFTER application of the product allows the use of the term "long-lasting"
